Kaius Kirby is a disabled, self-taught, mixed-media sculptor. They work in found objects, reclaimed glass, ceramics and puff paint. As a disabled person, they center their practice on vessels that can be meaningfully encountered and enjoyed by the disabled body. Their works are primarily brightly colored (for low vision), textured (for stimming), and unmounted (for low mobility).
