The application window is from August 1st, 2025—September 30th, 2025.

Our 2025/2026 artist-in-residence program will run for one year, October 2025 - October 2026 followed by a 3-month long installation of the body of work created while in residence.

Random Sample’s residence program operates as a work exchange. There is no rental fee for studio space.

All we ask is for our residence to be willing to help us maintain our space (chores, volunteering) and participate in community events.

Random Sample has a handful of programming happening every week and we want to be sure the artist involved with our space is not only aware of but welcoming of this!

Additionally to the work exchange and participation desired mentioned above, the artist will also have an entire body of work completed by the end of the year to display in our gallery space.
