Will Hicks
A classically trained musician and accomplished experimental percussionist, Will Hicks continues to push boundaries through experimental and noise-driven performance.
With over a decade of experience touring across the United States, Will has performed as the creative force behind the solo audiovisual project B_ank, the solo electro-acoustic pianist William Todd as well as a drummer for a wide array of acclaimed acts, including Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Alex Silva, Linear Downfall, Electric Würms, and R. Stevie Moore, among others.
Ollie Becker
Current projects include: solo guitar, noise rock band Rong, experimental grind band Obsolescence Technician, ensemble Premium Velvet Headache Pillow, and composition for chamber groups including Ghost Weight, a piece for violin duo that was premiered at San Francisco Conservatory in February 2024, as well as a suite for string quartet to be premiered by Non-Event in Boston this April 13, 2025. Their solo guitar combines their self-taught background with more recent studies in composition, with influences ranging from “American primitive” guitar to experimental metal, free improvisation, impressionism, and brutalism. Approaching solo guitar like a piano reduction of a larger score, each piece regularly shifts in meter, tempo, harmony, and texture –
a review of their acoustic trio album minis said that it “hits like freak-lounge jazz, acoustic metal and hardcore riffing off art pop ... each influence in style and tone holds its place within each song” (Post-Trash, 2021).
Jovial Wound
