Everything So Far: The Works of Chloe Tyler

The opening reception for Chloe Tyler’s debut solo exhibition will be held Sunday, July 5th from 5-8PM.

Chloe Tyler invites you to step into her collection of kinetic portraits and immersive interiors in her debut solo exhibition titled, Everything So Far: The Works of Chloe Tyler. On sale at Random Sample Gallery in Nashville, TN. All works will be on display and available for purchase from July 5th to September 22nd, 2026.

Tyler is a multidisciplinary artist. She doesn’t identify her aesthetic with any specific genres, but operates within maximalism. In this collection of work, Chloe investigates stages of motion, the density of complex interiors, and highlights the performative nature of human kind. It is her reaction to life in Nashville, and the inspiration that has found her while living in Music City.

Everything So Far features 27 pieces ranging in size, some with extensive detailing to compliment its layered personal meaning, while other pieces are simply meant to amuse. Chloe articulates the world through a visceral use of color. An imaginative exaggerator of realism, she hopes to stimulate viewers through organized chaos, overgrown tendrils, tangled cords, and funny animals. Music and sound is an integral part of Tyler’s process, so the works are accompanied by a meticulous soundtrack of songs that moved her to the canvas during this time.

Declining to sell and keeping her work private allowed Chloe to create without compromise. Now fully realized, this cohesive collection is ready for public view. Chloe Tyler’s grandiose portraits, narrative-driven interiors of local spaces, and whimsical animal rock bands offer a compelling, highly engaging visual experience.

Over the past three years, in tandem with creating these works, Tyler has expanded her professional freelance pursuits. She works as muralist for Grimey’s Record Store seasonally, designs comprehensive vinyl packaging, and does creative direction in collaborations with musicians like Wyatt Flores. In January 2025, Island Records nominated Tyler’s artwork from the Welcome to the Plains record for The Clios Awards, in which she was awarded the Bronze Medal for her use of illustration in the Design Craft category. Additionally, Tyler designs bespoke wedding stationery and performs live wedding paintings. She films stop-motion claymation music videos adorned with hand crafted miniature sets she builds out of trash, and starring hilariously depressed characters. Her style is distinct throughout.

Additionally, Chloe Tyler is also the award-winning author and illustrator of Cultured Donuts: Take A Bite Out of Art History, a children’s art book she published in 2023.

It won international acclaim that same year with the White Raven Award, was reviewed in the Wall Street Journal, and held strong at #1 in Art History Books on Amazon for over 5 months.
