Hannah Dorfman is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performance artist. She is co-founder and co-director of Nashville theater collective Amm Skellars. She once prepared and ate a hot dog using only her feet. Her current work in progress is a one-woman musical called “Milk Makes Me Sick But My Body Needs It,” a partially improvised, sci-fi fever dream about a lactose-intolerant 1950s housewife as she explores her memory, navigates queerness, and heals from sexual trauma.
Middle Sattre (SAT-tree) is an Austin-based experimental folk band. Originating in Salt Lake City as solo project fronted by Hunter Prueger, Middle Sattre began as a way to deal with internalized homophobia and religious repression. Middle Sattre’s compositions are at once mournful and hopeful; Prueger’s soft-spoken, almost-whispery vocals have an intimacy that evokes being let in on a long-guarded secret.
Jacob Milstein is a tonic concoction of low-res Americana and devout lyricism, of jeweled folk lulls and twisted country enchantments. In June of 2023, he began the project of putting out an unreleased song every week for a year as a part of a series called "Invitation to a Ritual." In 2024, the pace of those song releases relaxed to accommodate the development of his live show "Lonelyland," which, with his band and stage crew, debuted in Nashville in March.
