Hannah Dorfman is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performance artist. She is co-founder and co-director of Nashville theater collective Amm Skellars. She once prepared and ate a hot dog using only her feet. Her current work in progress is a one-woman musical called “Milk Makes Me Sick But My Body Needs It,” a partially improvised, sci-fi fever dream about a lactose-intolerant 1950s housewife.

She's currently at work on a collection of essays about a family of beavers in Nashville (among other things!) and is starting her MFA at the University of Arizona. She is obsessed with beavers, Wave country, and fake phones.
