Will Hicks aka B|_ank is a Portland, OR-based experimental drummer who has toured unconventional AV performances for many years. For this run, they step away from drums to perform “drone1____live” a single long-form drone piece written for ARP Odyssey. It’s a focused, patient piece of music built around sustained tension and the physical weight of sound.
Neon Black is the decade spanning Nashville art music duo of Tyler Blankenship (synth/vox) and Brandon Greer (guitar). The project serves as canvas for sonic experiments from cerebral “post-punkish” new wave songs to improvisational ambient and moody, dreamlike soundscapes. Not ones to repeat themselves, their curiosities often lead them to shift sound and instrumentation.
Born from isolation and desire to experiment, Nashville-based Make Yourself at Home is a slowcore project led by Billy Campbell. Campbell started MYSAH six years ago when he put out a noise tape in 2019, and the acquisition of a Tascam helped him to further explore his approach to music.
