DPCD is the work of Illinois musician Alec Watson. Taking its name after a four-letter secret code given to him by his great-grandfather, DPCD’s music is intimate and soft spoken, with Watson's meditative singing illuminated by fragile webs of guitar, piano, and celeste.

2021 saw two new DPCD releases; their third full-length album It's Hard for a Rich Man to Enter the Kingdom of God, and the home-recorded antique curiosity DPCD SINGS.

On Rich Man, Watson explores spirituality, anti-capitalism, and ambiguous loss. But rather than lecture on these themes, the album’s eleven songs feel their way through them. Stretches of wordless vocals and strands of repeated melodies lull listeners into a trance, and interlocking tapestries of guitar spin up ghosts of past selves.

Bad Posture Club is a Minneapolis-based folk duo made up of Maren Day and Morgan Kavanagh. Their songwriting explores themes of home-places, memory, and family, finding inspiration in the strange relationship between human softness and the unyielding societal structures we both participate in, and push against.

When reinterpreting traditional folk songs, they carve out space and agency for queer voices. Purposefully open and sparse, they craft intricate and experimental harmonies with their two voices, banjo, guitar, and sometimes a 100 year old pump organ. Bad Posture Club invites the listener to hear the power in quiet, intimate music, and offers warmth and reflection through song.

Hannah Delynn is a singer and songwriter in Nashville, TN, a city she loves for its familial creative community. Hannah’s true north has always been music and words. Originally from Florida, she found her way to Music City USA in 2013, by way of New Zealand, Australia, and British Columbia.

Hannah’s great grandfather, Pop Johnson, led “Pop Johnson and His Family of Range Riders”, of which Hank Williams, Sr. was a rotating member. Pop’s country/swing band performed theaters from South to North, ending up at Chicago’s National Barn Dance, the precursor to the Grand Ole Opry. It seems only natural that Hannah was drawn to explore the home of country music and all it has to offer.
