Born and raised in the city of Los Angeles, Ariella Fett's lifelong passion for music has been a driving force in her journey. Following her high school graduation, her path led her to the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Inspired by the dynamic artistic community on campus, Ariella eventually took the plunge and formed her band Ariella the Band. The music her band produces today is a tapestry of influences that define her folk-rock sound.

A pivotal chapter in Ariella's musical evolution unfolded during her year-long residence in Nashville, Tennessee. The city was a transformative experience for her. Immersed in the rich folk music scene of Nashville, Ariella's music took on a new dimension, marked by poignant storytelling and acoustic harmonies. This period in her life left an indelible imprint on her songwriting and musical approach. 

Returning to Los Angeles, Ariella was exposed to the vibrant DIY scene, which breathed fresh life into her music. This community encouraged artistic freedom and experimentation, adding a punk influence to her sound. The combination of her folk-infused melodies from Nashville and the rebellious spirit of the LA DIY scene forged a distinctive sound that captures the essence of her musical journey. Today, Ariella the Band continues to share their passion for music, offering a genre-blurring experience that celebrates the eclectic influences that have shaped her musical landscape.

Sewn undeniably within the Nashville psychedelic folk scene, Zook is the spawn of songwriter, Zach Tittel. Over the years, Zook has featured a rotating cast of lifers, framing playful lyrics with folk instruments, interlocking guitar leads, and warbling synths.
